We only collect what is needed to provide and improve our apps.

Email address, when you contact us or create an account.
Optional sign-in in Demist
Demist uses Google Firebase Authentication for optional Sign in with Apple or Google. To reconnect your history, Demist's backend stores the sign-in provider, an opaque Firebase user identifier and the date the sign-in was linked. It does not store your Apple or Google password, name or email address from that sign-in. Firebase processes the information supplied by the provider to authenticate you.
Device information
Operating system version, app version, device model and related technical statistics.
Usage data
Crash reports, analytics and diagnostics.
Payments
Purchase status and receipts handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. We do not collect or store payment card details.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising SDKs.
How we use information
Provide the service
Email and account data are used to provide app functionality and to sync user data across devices.
Improve stability and performance
Device and usage data help us fix bugs, improve reliability and understand feature usage.
Process purchases
App stores and RevenueCat process purchases and allow us to validate entitlements.
We process personal information only when necessary for these purposes or to comply with legal requirements.
Sharing with third parties
We share limited data with service providers who help us operate our apps and website:
- Apple App Store and Google Play for distribution and purchases.
- RevenueCat for purchase and subscription management.
- Google Firebase Authentication for optional Apple and Google sign-in in Demist.
- Analytics, crash reporting and hosting providers used to operate the service.
These providers process data under their own privacy terms. We do not allow use of your data for advertising.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Diagnostic data is kept for a limited period for troubleshooting. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
International transfers
Some providers may process data in other countries. When this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as data transfer agreements or equivalent legal mechanisms.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to or restrict processing, and to request a copy of your data. To make a request, email support@oatfox.co. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
